Wild Islands

Wild Meadows

WildMeadowsIsland.jpg

Wild Meadows lies across the water from the other Horse Academy islands. Like its counterparts, this island exudes a natural beauty. Rolling hills with natural springs, small beaches and magnificent trees!

The meadows are home to realistic wild horses—strong, sturdy, and perfectly adapted to their environment. Their coats vary from chestnuts to dappled Grays and all things in-between! As a player, you have the opportunity to gain the trust of these wild horses and tame them. They’re cautious and skittish, but with patience and gentle persistence, you can form a bond. Use your knowledge of horse behaviour to approach them without startling them.

Mystic Mane

MysticManeIsland.jpg

Mystic Mane Island is a captivating landmass nestled in the heart of the ocean. It boasts a large, dormant volcano that dominates the island’s skyline above fields of wildflowers and small forest glades.

Here, wild fantasy horses roam freely. As a player, you have the opportunity to explore the island, build trust with the wild horses, and eventually tame them. Each horse has its own personality, quirks, and challenges. Hidden Secrets....I wonder what would happen if you hopped in the hole at the top of the volcano and pressed the strange button on the wall!

Taming the wild Horses

Preparing your ranch for wild horses

First, you'll need to buy "Wild Stables" from the main store, which includes a paddock and internal stalls. These stables are perfect for housing any wild horses you catch, allowing you to interact with them during the taming process. Here, grooming and releasing them into the pasture can enhance your horse's personality. Next, you'll require training equipment, available for purchase at the store to outfit your ranch. This equipment is crucial for boosting your horse's talents during the 7-day taming period. Then, it's off to the main island to gather food, which is key to befriending a wild horse. Lastly, make sure you have $50 million in HA cash or 20 Academy Dollars on hand to cover the transporter's fee for bringing your wild horse home.

Taming your wild

To catch a wild horse, first visit NPC Mama Sam, located at the bottom centre of the main island map by the waterfalls. She offers a trip to Wild Meadows Island, where realistic horses roam, or Mystic Mane Island for club members, featuring wild fantasy horses. Choose your island, and you'll be whisked away to a land teeming with wild horses.

Approach a horse slowly and calmly to avoid startling it, as they will run if frightened. Select food from your inventory, place it within the horse's sight, and back away until it approaches and begins to eat. Gently groom the horse while it eats until the tame bar is full, and it will follow you to the transporter. Continuously stroke the horse on your way back to ensure it doesn't flee if the tame bar decreases. At the transportation zone, the transporter will praise your catch and ask for a fee to transport it to your ranch. Once paid, you'll return to your ranch to place the horse in the pre-prepared wild stables.

Interact with your horse through grooming, feeding, training, and letting it relax in the pasture. These activities enhance the horse's personality and talents, crucial for the taming process over a 7-day period. Remember to space out these interactions by at least four hours for optimal results, allowing your horse ample rest.
